We collect the information required to run your account, accept bookmark submissions, and respond to support requests. That typically includes your name, email address, login credentials, and the bookmark data you submit.
The Laravel version stores passwords with modern hashing, uses CSRF protection on forms, validates uploaded files, and removes the unsafe hard-coded database and mail credentials that existed in the legacy PHP code.
When you submit a website, we store the URL, title, description, category, tags, and image that you provide so the bookmark can be displayed publicly in the directory.
If you register for an account or request a password reset, we may email you verification or recovery links. Make sure your mail settings are configured correctly in the Laravel .env file before going live.
